Currently, the second market operation of ULT has been completed. The original plan to purchase 5 million ULTs, the actual purchase of 7 million ULTs. Among them, 2.8 million were purchased directly from previous investors, 1.8 million were purchased from the exchange, 1.32 million were purchased from the CellETF flash swap platform (the new platform this time), and 1.08 million were purchased from the Ripplefox gateway. This purchase exceeded expectations because the market price was lower than expected, and the foundation’s quantitative investment income exceeded expectations (mainly due to the rise of Ripple and Stellar). The foundation will decide in the near future whether to add another new purchase plan in December to give back to the community with practical actions.
The two phases of purchases in 2020 are as of November 27, 2020, and a total of 12 million ULTs have been purchased.
